The mausoleum is a construction of historical values, representative of the clandestine struggles and the Pre-revolutionary stage for the epic of Moncada. It is architecturally structured in different sections: the ceremonial square, the main cube-shaped monument with stained glass windows, the mortuary chamber, the interior circulation tunnel and two exhibition halls. In the tunnel, by means of a ceramic mural made by the artist EvelioLacourt, a historical panorama of the main events that make up the tradition of struggle of the Cuban people is offered.
