The Cuban Ministry of Education (MINED) made details this Thursday on its official website in relation to the prices of lunch in semi-boarding schools and the payment of the nursery, reported last December under Resolution 346/20.

According to the statement, both monthly rates remain the same: with a maximum amount of 40 pesos for the child care service and seven pesos for semi-boarding schools.

Mothers with two or more children continue with a subsidized payment for the nursery and semi-nursing, as established by Joint Resolution 1/17, of the MINED and the Ministry of Finance and Prices (MFP). The clarification issued on the Facebook profile of the national director of Early Childhood, María de los Ángeles Gallo, expresses that these measures respond to the political will of the Cuban State to promote birth rates, and the protection of children and working mothers.

Meanwhile, Resolution 346/20 of the MFP defines the prices and retail rates in Cuban pesos of products and services, in line with the monetary regulation initiated in Cuba on the 1st. January this year.
