British singer-songwriter Adele confirmed on Wednesday that on November 19 she will release her new studio album titled 30.
"I would dare to say that I have never felt calmer in my life. So I am ready to finally release this album," the 33-year-old singer wrote on her Twitter account of hers.
The singer announced the news in an Instagram post along with a long note in which she explained that she finally felt ready to release her music, following her divorce from Simon Konecki.
The cover is a profile photo of Adele posing against a teal background. In her post, the artist shared a lengthy statement in which she confessed that she spent many nights "sobbing and consumed with grief" as she struggled with the collapse of her marriage.
She began the long note of her reflecting on the tumultuous years that followed her separation from Simon from her, admitting that she was battling "inner turmoil" and facing "devastating truths."
“It certainly wasn't anywhere near where I expected to be when I started the album almost 3 years ago. In fact, it is the opposite. I rely on routine and perseverance to feel safe, I always have. And yet there I was knowingly, even willingly, throwing myself into a maze of utter disorder and inner turmoil! ”She shared.
According to the artist, the album is about the most turbulent period of her life and the process of the last three years, "I have discovered useful and healthy mentalities, and I feel that I have finally found my feelings again," she assured.
The first promotional single from the album entitled Easy on me will be available on digital platforms on October 15.
The previous albums of the multi-award-winning singer and instrumentalist are titled the age she was when she produced them, in that order plates 19, 21 and 25 appear.
The soul, blues, pop and jazz singer-songwriter who accumulates several Grammy Awards debuted in 2008 with the album 19.
She is currently considered one of the most important British songwriters and performers of her generation.
