"Cuba will win" is the absolute conviction of a people for its victory. It is the reflection of a country that from end to end writes glorious pages of sacrifice in the confrontation with COVID-19. It is a hymn to optimism and life in which several generations of artists come together, exponents of different genres of our music.
"Cuba Will Win" was written by Yoján Barbosa, a young singer-songwriter from the La Lisa municipality.
To interpret it, he was joined by the voices of consecrated figures of the national staff such as María Elena Pena, Maureen Iznaga and Emilia Morales, as well as the young rapper "El Gusta", protagonists of long days of exchange and musical arrangements.
The video clip of the song is a recognition of the work of Cuban scientists, the volunteers who give the best of themselves in hospitals and isolation centers, and the Cuban people in general, all protagonists of the audiovisual work produced jointly by Mundo Latino and the University of Informatics Sciences, with the support of the Government and the Municipal Assembly of People's Power in La Lisa.
