Brief news on “Artemiseño” sports:
- The Artemisa women's football team finished the western qualifying stage; and waits for the repechage at the end with a victory balance against the Isle of Youth by 8 goals to zero; victory against Pinar del Rio by 8 goals to 1, and fell before the girls from Havana by 0 to 1.
- Weekends continue with the National Football Closing Tournament. Artemisa visits Havana on Saturday 7th. On Saturday 14th they receive Villa Clara at “Bombonera”, San Cristóbal; and on Saturday the 21st they travel to Granma. Thus,they are ending the 1st round of the National Football Closing Tournament.
