"Let them speak", that's what the Cuban singer Laritza Bacallao called her second album, which is released this week and connects with the best of popular dance music on the island.
The new album marks the beginning of Bacallao's work with the record label Puntilla Music, established in Miami, and continues the path marked by "Solo se vive una vez", recorded with Planet Record, a label specially oriented to the promotion of urban music. .
Seven years later, the new album hopes to follow in the wake of its predecessor's hits. For Laritza it means, in a certain way, a maturity milestone after two decades of career.
On his Facebook profile, he assured that he prepares new projects while focusing on promoting "Let them speak," which, he said, is a surprise to all his fans.
The singer has obtained different national and international awards. In 2015 she was nominated in the Youth Revelation category at the Premios Juventud, which is delivered annually by the US network Univisión. Additionally, she has garnered public favor during her tours of Europe, the United States, and Latin America.
In the interior of the island, she has worked with Paulo FG, Cándido Fabré and JG, as well as with Osmani García and the group Los 4, among other diverse artists of popular music and the urban genre. She participated in different editions of the Boleros de Oro Festivals in Cuba and various events that celebrate the best of Cuban music.
In a general sense, Bacallao alternates between popular music, urban genres and other areas of music and triumphs. "Let them talk" is on the way to confirm it.
