In a conversation held by our weekly with Nelson Lara García, Provincial Director of Sports, it was learned of the visit to the facility by INDER's vice president, Omar Venegas, who appreciated the damage caused.
After assessing them, INDER's vice president considered that the rest of the stadium's infrastructure was not damaged and is in perfect condition for its useful life.
The federation considered that, if they work quickly and efficiently, the people of Artemis will be able to enjoy the sporting spectacle again, on July 26, when the First Elite League of Cuban Baseball begins.
The first recovery actions are aimed at removing the debris and the metal structure of the towers that were affected. In this sense, the Provincial Director of Sports, Nelson Lara García, pointed out that a brigade from the Artemisa Construction Company is carrying out all the work and there is a commitment to return baseball activity to the facility, to the delight of the fans.
