At the close of yesterday, August 4, a total of 738 patients are hospitalized, 248 suspected and 490 confirmed active.

On the day in Cuba for COVID-19, a total of 1,925 samples were carried out for surveillance, with 129 being positive. The country accumulates 14,045,111 samples carried out and 1 million 108 thousand 621 positives.

There are 8,529 deaths (no deaths are reported on the day), lethality of 0.77% vs 1.11% in the world and 1.63% in the Americas; two evacuees, 57 returned to their countries, on the day there were 102 discharges, they accumulate 1 million 099 thousand 543 (99.2%). 10 confirmed seriously ill patients are treated in Intensive Care.
