Call for Acting Entrance Exams:

 The National Theater School and the Artemisa Culture Provincial Directorate, call at entrance exams for actors’ training.

 Requirements:

• Be in 9th grade or Higher Secondary Education.
• Have obtained, at least 85 points, in the studies of 7th and 8th grades for those who are in the 9th grade, and the same index in Basic Education for those who are in Higher Middle Education.
• Be 17 years old maximum, valid until December 31st of the current year (fiscal year end).
• Have private address (applicant and legal guardian) for a period, not less than six months, in the province or region designated to the school center.

Documentation to present for registration:          

• Minor’s Card or Identity Card.
• Study Certification -7th and 8th grades- for those who are in the 9th grade. Completed study certification from Basic Education, for those who are in Higher Secondary Education; with the stamp and signature of the teaching secretary, and the director of the center of origin.
• Letter from the study center for those who are enrolled in Higher Secondary Education, with the stamp and signature of the director, certifying such condition. 

To take the aptitude tests they must: 
• Interpret a Cuban song of any genre, except reggaeton, and know its title and author.
• Interpret a prose text of a play, monologue, short story or novel (from a minimum of two paragraphs to a maximum of one page) taking care of the diction. 

During the tests, it is essential the applicants wear comfortable work clothes (maillot, leotard, short, pullover, T-shirt, etc.) to carry out the exercises. They cannot examine wearing clothing, false nails, or other accessories that hinder their performance.

Registrations will be made from February 4th to 18^th, at the Provincial Culture Directorate; located in the San León estate, “Plan Plátano”, headquarters of the Provincial Administration Council in Artemisa municipality, personally.                             

There will be 3 exams of eliminatory nature, where the conditions of flexibility, resistance, coordination, rhythm, musicality, voice and diction, expressiveness, creativity, organization, imagination, observation, and faith and sense of truth will be evaluated.

The tests will take place from February 22nd to 24^th, at Commander Ciro Redondo García Provincial Library, in Artemisa at 8:00 am, with the aforementioned documentation from each applicant.

The results in the 1st and 2nd rounds will be announced at the end of the examination session, once the court has concluded the deliberation.
